Almost impossible to get an appointment either over the phone or in person. Realise that there is a consideable demand but 3 weeks to get an appointment regarding an ongoing chronic complaint is really not good enough.

I just phoned to try and book an appointment for my son. I didn't mind if I had to book ahead. They operate the most ludicrous system that means dates and times get released at 8.30am every morning (which is exactly the time I have to drop my son at school so I cant spend 30 minutes waiting on hold with everyone else desperately trying to get an appointment). I was told I had to phone back the following morning as they had no dates. I moved surgeries as I found Heathcote so impossible to deal with and I will move my children as soon as possible too. I don't have this issue in my other surgery, so don't understand why Heathcote has to be like this. Infuriating.

Look, this is a good surgery but their telephone service is awful. They won't give blood test results until 2pm and then their automated system tells you they are too busy to do so. Getting an appointment is a real challenge but I guess that is the same everywhere these days. Why can't the test results be provided online through the patient log in?

I've had to attend the doctors a couple of times recently and the service has been impeccable - from the receptionist getting me an appointment really quickly to seeing very caring, professional doctors . This week i had a follow up with nurse Sue Arnold who was just brilliant in explaining my condition really clearly and also really motivated me to make necessary changes. She gave me lots of relevant brochures and organised my next couple of appointments. I am so impressed with all at Heathcote Medical Centre, and thank them for their amazing professionalism.

Appalling service from very rude and incompetent reception who don't listen and just want to get you off the phone! Latest fiasco when I tried to get an advance appointment for my son to get a referral for an X-ray - receptionist told me to register him with another practice and put the phone down on me! Prescription ordering service is a joke - my husband has epilepsy and his prescriptions are never ready in time and are always wrong! The surgery simply don't care about patients and their medical conditions.
